It’s that time of year again! A cool breeze in the air, soft snuggly sweaters, cozy décor, and all things pumpkin spice! I love to see all the various pumpkin spice trends each fall season. Folks are getting more and more creative by the year.
A few things I’ve found this year so far:
1. Pumpkin Spice Malted Milk Balls
2. Pumpkin Spice Seltzer Water
3. Pumpkin Spice Hot Cocoa Mix
4. Pumpkin Spice Deodorant (Nonedible)
5. Pumpkin Spice Dog Treats (You could eat this, but I wouldn’t recommend it)
I kinda want to try all but the last two!
There are two types of people:
All-Things Pumpkin Spice
Or
Anti-Everything Pumpkin Spice
Ain’t nothing wrong with either type, but what can be wrong is how one treats the other. If someone gets all excited and goes overboard with their love of pumpkin spice then let’s allow them their fun.
For some reason it appears to be trendy to shame folks when they find something that makes them so happy that they may go a little overboard with it. Why is that?
Another example that comes to mind are those who go crazy like Clark Griswold in National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. We all know someone who covers every surface with Christmas décor, both inside and out. And guess what? If that makes them happy then cool.
You may find this and the pumpkin obsession silly and insignificant, but let those who find joy in it enjoy their joy. Don’t be Scrooge. Instead, find something this season that makes you happy. Find your reason to smile and don’t let anyone steal it from you.
I love the smell & taste of pumpkin spice.....as well as cinnamon sugar, so I'm with both of you, as well as Tonya, of course! My favorite uses of pumpkin spice are in breads with the add'l ingredient of canned pumpkin AND in pumpkin pies. Yummo!! Fall is my favorite season, especially after hot, humid days of summer in the south.
Amen !!
I'm all things pumpkin spice 😁
I am not a pumpkin spice girl but there is no shame in being one! Lead me to the cinnamon sugar though and I'm happy!
